Fabl, Inc. values the privacy of its visitors. The information below explains our online information practices and the ways in which your information is collected and used. This notice applies to all information collected via the Fabl website, Fabl platform and any current or future applications that may be made available from time to time by Fabl, Inc. (collectively, the “Site”).
Information We Collect

You are not required to provide any personal information in order to browse our publicly available website and content. However, if you do provide personal information to us, this privacy policy describes how we may use your information.

You may provide personal information to us in connection with your use of Fabl, including information we request when you register for or log into the Fabl site if registration is required. This may include certain basic personal information such as your name, email address, mobile device identification and number and personal interests. If permitted by the Fabl functionality, you may provide additional personal information in order to set up your Fabl profile (which may be viewable by others). We may also track what content you are interested in on Fabl, including the content to which you respond by posting comments or other user submissions.

This Privacy Policy also describes how we collect and use other non-personal information on our Site, including for technical requirements or to better understand our users. This information includes:

  • The type of device running the application (ie. iPad 2), its platform version (e.g. iOS 7), and the version of Fabl in use (e.g. 1.0).
  • Anonymous usage statistics.
  • Information supplied to Fabl by the third party application, device or app store providers (such as Apple), which may include your name, email address, and ZIP code if you opted into the collection of this information upon subscribing.

Fabl, Inc. also collects and stores information automatically, similar to most websites, and through the use of electronic tools that may be transparent to visitors. We may, for example, log the name of your Internet Service Provider, your IP address, and information provided by and about your Internet browser. As we adopt additional technology, we may also gather similar information through other means. We may also use “cookie” technology for your convenience as we see fit and to improve your experience on our site, such as to keep you logged in between visits if we add a login feature.

How We Use and Disclose Information
The information you provide is used to operate the Fabl Site and platform and its various functionalities. If you provide personal information to us, we will use such information for the purpose for which it was provided and to process your requests. For example, if you provide information in order to receive information about Fabl, we may use such information to provide such information to you.

Our Site may include functions for registering to use Fabl, creating your personal profile and public commenting and posting. Any information you post or upload to the public portions of our Site will be publicly available.

We aggregate and use non-identifying information to better design, operate and deploy Fabl. We may, for instance, make decisions based on the percentage of our readership using a certain device or operating system. We may also share non-identifying and aggregate statistics with potential future advertisers and partners. For instance, we may tell an advertiser or partner how many people visited a certain area on our website, used a certain feature of our application, or viewed a certain issue or article. When information is used in this or a similar manner, we do not disclose any personally identifying information without your consent.

We may use your personal information that you provide, including as aggregated with automatically collected information and information regarding your behavior on the Fabl site, to provide you with targeted ads, information, Fabl content and other materials we believe may be of interest to you. We may compile your information with information of our other users and provide or sell such information to third parties, including for marketing purposes. If you do not wish us to share your personal information for such purposes, you will be able to opt-out of such use.

We may disclose information to our service providers that work on our behalf, including to operate and administer the Site.

We may disclose your personal information in response to subpoenas, court orders, or other legal process or request, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or to defend against legal claims. We may disclose your information when we believe it necessary or desirable in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, infringement claims, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of our policies, and/or to protect our rights and property or our other users.

In the future, we may sell, buy, merge, or partner with other companies or businesses. In such transactions, user information may be among the transferred assets. In the event of a bankruptcy, insolvency or similar event, we may not be able to control how user information is treated or transferred.

Disclosures

External Services. External services beyond Fabl’s control are integrated with Fabl where necessary, such as Google Analytics for traffic measurement and tracking. Fabl makes reasonable efforts to ensure that all integrated external services are trustworthy and reputable, but we cannot be held responsible for data collection and usage by such services.

Data Security. To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

Social Media Sites. We may have pages or other presence on various social networking sites or services, such as Facebook, Twitter and the like. Any information you post or provide through such sites and services will be subject to the policies of those sites and services.

Links. The Site may provide links to third-party websites for your convenience and information. If you access those links, you will leave our Site. These third party sites may have privacy practices that differ from our practices and policies. We do not endorse or make any representations about third-party websites. The personal data you choose to give to other parties is not covered by our Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any company before using the site and submitting your personal information.

Location of Servers. Our servers are located in the United States of America. If you are accessing the Site from outside the United States, please be advised that through your continued use of the Site, which is governed by U.S. law and this Privacy Policy, you are transferring your personal information to the United States and you consent to that transfer and the maintenance and processing of such information in the United States.

Tracking. We do not track or collect personal data about your online activities once you leave the Site or Service.

How to Contact Us

Should you have other questions or concerns about these privacy policies, or to have any of your personally identifiable information deleted, please email info@fabl.co with the details of your request. At this time, we only have the ability to receive and send English-language communications. Due to the nature of backups and logs, deleted data may persist in backups and logs until they are deleted.

Changes to this Policy
Fabl reserves the right to change this policy at any time. Please check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of Fabl following the posting of changes to this policy will mean you accept those changes.
